Abstract

Since its inception in 1975, and through practically one hundred issues, Narria has published studies of arts and folk traditions in Spain. Its defining characteristic is the dedication of each issue to the extensive coverage of a province or of a large area within a province. Although the articles are largely the work of the Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares, of Autónoma University of Madrid—the publisher of Narria—, its issues also include the systematic contribution of outside researchers and local especialists.
