Rendimiento y utilidad de técnicas prestadas de la geografía humana: Trabajando la percepción individual

This paper lays out the experience with two tecniques, «Urban Excursion» and «Mental mapping», usually applicated in «Human Geography», within an anthropological study about perception of public green urban areas (specially the park of Casa de Campo, Madrid). I want to discuss here the «surplus» of information that may suport those tools within the investigation about «Urban Landscape». Althoug the have been used only in an additional way, supporting the commun tecniques in social anthropology as there are the open interview, participant observation and qualitative and contextualized ethnography. I want to deal with a number of particular problems concerting fieldwork in urban parks.
