Abstract

The author analyzes the historical concept of «Heritage» involved in the material and spiritual identity of social groups. He defines the term «Cultural and Anthropological Heritage» by examining its guiding principies and conceptions. He also discusses the differences between anthropology and anthropological heritage, as well as the legal and social mechanisms needed to protect such heritage as exemplified in Andalusia.
